Queen Camilla Will Take A Break From Her Royal Duties After King Charles Cancer Diagnosis

Reports say that Queen Camilla is taking a break from her chores after dealing with a tough few weeks where she had to take on a lot of responsibility for the royal family.

Hello! says that Camilla will take a short break from royal tasks for a week, during which she will not have to do anything that would normally keep her busy.

The Queen is said to be going back to work on March 11, when she is scheduled to lead the Royal Family at Westminster Abbey for the Commonwealth Day service. It is said that other top royals will fill in for her for now.

King Charles has been having health problems lately, which has kept him from doing the normal things that a reigning king does. The King was found with an unknown type of cancer early last month after getting treatment for an enlarged prostate. He is still getting treatment.

Things got even more complicated when Kate Middleton went to the hospital and then had to heal. As a result, Prince William may not have been able to help as much as he would have liked.

To make up for it, Queen Camilla has taken on more royal tasks. Last week, she led the royal family at the memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece.

After that, we can only guess that Camilla will enjoy the break from her responsibilities. According to Hello!, she will spend her “week off” with King Charles and other family members.

As for Charles, the King has been sharing his time between London and Sandringham, the royal estate in Norfolk, England. This is well known. Even though the royal family hasn’t said what kind of cancer the king has or what stage it is in, he is still getting treatment.

During a meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunka, King Charles said that the words of support he’s gotten from people since being diagnosed had made him cry. Aside from specifics, the royal family has said that Charles is recovering well and staying optimistic.

After her 13-day stay at the London Clinic, the future Queen has been resting at home and won’t be ready to go again until after Easter. Many royal fans are worried about Kate’s health because the Palace hasn’t been giving them any information. However, it was said again last week that there is no reason to be worried.

“We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant,” Kensington Palace said.

To King Charles and Queen Camilla, may you have a wonderful few days together.
