A BODYBUILDER CHAMPION died in a terrible car accident in Brazil while riding a bike.
On the BR-369 road between Ibipora and Jataizinho, Andre Cavalcanti, 34, hit a 17-year-old joyriderhead-on.
Chief of police in the area, Vitor Dutra, said that the accident happened when the teenager was passing when he crashed into the bodybuilder’s motorcycle heads-on.
It is known that Cavalcanti died at the scene of the crime.
Reports say the teen’s parents didn’t know that he had taken their car for a joyride with two other 15- and 17-year-olds.
After the horrible crash, they were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that were not specified.
Police said the 17-year-old could be charged with a crime similar to murder and treated like an adult.
From all over the world, people began to pay tribute to the bodybuilder champion.
Bodybuilders from the state of Parana told the world on social media, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our PRO SUPPORT athlete, Andre Cavalcanti, who was in a motorcycle accident this morning.”
“He had a lot of plans when he was young.” With the news of this terrible event, we ask God to comfort his family.
We will always remember André as the honest and devoted person he was. He was a great athlete, friend, and partner.
“We lost a loved one here on Earth, but Heaven has a gift for us.” Let’s pray to Our Father for him, sure that God will forgive him and that eternity will last forever.
The news comes after the death in Germany of 46-year-old Portuguese bodybuilder Marco Luis.
He was known as “Monster” and had a huge following on social media. He also worked as an online coach and motivator.
In the meantime, an inquest heard that another bodybuilding champion had died after taking a deadly mix of drugs that included steroids.
In September of last year, Neil Currey, 34, was found sitting still in his Sheffield apartment.
At the autopsy, it was said that the professional bodybuilder died from taking cocaine and methamphetamine together.
Neil’s body had also been having trouble because he had been taking steroids for a long time. His parents think that the drugs killed him.
In court, Nigel and Sandra Currey talked about how their active son worked as a personal trainer before becoming a bodybuilder.
He finally reached his goal of competing for Mr. Olympia at the 2022 Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend, but he had been having trouble with his height to weight ratio and turned to steroids for help.
