After a 24-day search, Lotus Drummer Chuck Morris and his son Charley were found dead

Musician Chuck Morris and his son Charley went missing while kayaking in Arkansas and were later found dead.

The father-and-son team went missing, and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office launched a 24-hour search for them. Over the weekend, their corpses were found close to Lost Bridge Village in Beaver Lake.

Sheriff Shawn Holloway thanked everyone who volunteered their time and efforts to provide the family closure and the community for coming together to help with the search.

In addition, the Morris family thanked people who donated to the search and recovery effort by way of a GoFundMe page.

Charley Morris drowned, while the cause of death for the senior Morris is unknown, according to the same post.

Chuck Morris played drums for the Denver-based techno band Lotus while his son Charley was a student at Ohio Wesleyan University. The incident took place while the family was on vacation in Beaver Lake for spring break.

The terrible ending to this tale highlights how important it is to practice water safety procedures when engaging in peaceful activities near lakes and other bodies of water.

Although the details of the tragedy are unknown, it serves as a warning to be vigilant and careful in unanticipated circumstances. The Morris family is in our hearts and prayers during this sad time.

Lotus, a well-known “jamtronica” band, has been in grief since Chuck Morris and Charley Pierce went missing last week.

The band announced on social media that the search had changed into a recovery effort despite days of searching. The news has devastated fans and supporters, and many have taken to social media to offer their condolences and support.

In a statement released online, the band stated that it would be paying tribute to Morris and Pierce’s lives with a string of performances across the nation in the upcoming weeks.

The first two performances will take place in Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium, and then there will be performances in Port Chester, New York, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The two individuals’ families will receive a portion of the proceeds from these activities.

Chuck Morris joined Lotus in the early 2000s and had been a part of the group for about 20 years. The group was one of the most thrilling performers in the “jamtronica” genre after releasing 13 studio albums and live recordings.

“Bloom & Recede,” their most recent album, was released to a great deal of acclaim. The news of Morris and Pierce’s kidnapping shocked the music industry, and admirers and musicians came together to show their support and grief.

Despite the tragedy, the band is committed to honoring its members who have passed away, and fans can anticipate some tremendously moving performances in the future.
