Kevin Costner seems to have maybe found love again, months after his painful divorce from longtime wife Christine Baumgartner.
There have been speculations circulating that the Yellowstone actor is in a relationship with singer Jewel.
The two were recently seen together at a tennis event on Richard Branson’s Necker Island for the Inspiring Children Foundation.
A source close to the pair told TMZ that they took a plane to the Caribbean and spent nearly a week together.
Naturally, this follows the chaos that Costner’s post-relationship court battle with Baumgartner produced.
According to reports, Costner was unprepared when his wife decided to start the divorce proceedings in May of this year. The unfortunate scenario began to deteriorate from that point on.
Early in May, Christine presented the grounds for her divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They had been married for eighteen years.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,”a spokeswoman for Costner said in a statement.
“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Costner and Baumgartner tied the knot in 2004. Grace is the couple’s daughter; Cayden and Hayes are their sons; Grace is twelve years old.
After Baumgartner’s lawsuit, she and Costner got into a heated fight, and Costner ended up paying $63,209 in child support and evicting Baumgartner from the family home (as per their prenuptial agreement).
There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, even if Costner’s trip has obviously been a dark one, fraught with loss, uncertainty, and a lot of stress he could have avoided.
TMZ has reported a relationship between Costner and US singer Jewel. One insider said, “There was definitely something going on,” confirming that the pair vacationed in the Caribbean together.
They were seductive and appeared to radiate joy whenever they were in each other’s company.
Jewel went above and beyond by mentioning Costner on social media. “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son!” she remarked of the tennis fundraiser hosted on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. This year, @kevincostnermodernwest was gracious enough to mentor our youngsters.”
Rumor has it that Jewel and Costner got back on the road together, according to TMZ. Jewel is “picky,” and “she wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill,” according to a source.
