America’s most beloved singer has died suddenly this morning.

A LEGEND The singer Henry Fambrough has died.

He was 85 years old.

Fambrough was the last original member of the hit band The Spinners who was still alive.

A representative for him said that he died on Wednesday at his home in northern Virginia.

Fambrough, who was from Detroit, died peacefully of old age.

The Detroit Free Press said that he had gone into hospice care.

Not long ago, The Spinners were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now, he has died.

Fambrough quit the group at the beginning of last year.

They were formed in 1954 and had hits like “It’s A Shame,” “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love,” and “The Rubberband Man.”

In 1975, Fambrough sang on the song “Just As Long As We Have Love” with Dionne Warwick.

Early members of the band C.P. Spencer and Billy Henderson died in 2004, 2007, and 2008, respectively, and Bobby Smith died in 2013.

A lot of tributes have been sent since Fambrough’s death.

People who were sad praised Fambrough’s smooth and versatile tenor voice.

From 2008 to 2010, Jessie Peck was in The Spinners and said that Fambrough was reliable.

“He set the standard for the rest of us about how the Spinners should be: always on point, with every step,” he said.

“He wanted this to go on no matter what more than anything else.” Those are the things he gave us.

His daughter Heather Williams and his wife of 52 years, Norma, will miss him.
