The Roloff family, who gained prominence on the reality series Small People, Big World, has sadly lost a lot of loved ones over the years.
Despite all the suffering they have through, the family has become closer.
A tribute to Matt’s father Ronald
Famous actor Matt Roloff sent a heartfelt farewell to his father, Ronald James Roloff, who passed away unexpectedly at age 84 earlier this year.
Matt, 60, shared a touching tribute to his adored father on Instagram.
He wrote, “A sad week for the Roloff Family,” in an emotive obituary to express his sorrow. Last night, my father—whom his 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren call “papa”—gently went home to be with his Lord and Savior.
“Ron inspired many people. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
“His true love for other people was evident to everyone with whom he ever interacted! His devotion to Jesus was clear both during his life and in the last moments of his life.
Before his father’s death, Matt had already spoken about his father’s struggle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Matt’s sibling was also gone.
In addition to having to say goodbye to his sibling far too young, Matt also had to deal with the death of his father.
In 1999, Josh Roloff passed away at the age of 34.
When he was a young boy, doctors discovered that he had serious heart and lung issues.
Many years after his passing, his family has kept up with honoring his legacy.
Josh even had a chapter in their book Small Family, Big Values. Josh was with us in this world for a much too short time, but he was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. We all miss you, think about you frequently, and eagerly anticipate your reappearance in the presence of our Jesus.
Amy’s mother died.
When Amy, Matt’s ex-wife, unexpectedly passed away, she had just announced her engagement to Chris Marek.
She admitted that the previous two weeks had been an emotional roller coaster in 2019. varied emotions. I’m overjoyed that Chris asked me to be his wife.
“Very sad because my sister told me the next day that she had passed away and my father told me she was in the hospital a few days after my mother went away. She passed away on the 24th. I was filled with hopelessness, and my heart hurt. I wasn’t certain what to feel.

Unless, of course, it happened before 2012. Tomás Garrenton, Isabel’s brother, is unlikely to have ever met Jacob.
In a horrible rail disaster, Tomás perished.
Isabel and Jacob are both moms of kids, and Isabel has promised that when her son is older, he will know everything about his uncle.
He would be fully aware of you, she claimed last year. How you used to make me smile through my tears. How you produced some really incredible music soon before you passed away. You will be well known to my son, Uncle Tomás.
Mother Isabel went away as well.
Isabel lost her mother Toni Garreton about two years after her brother passed away.
Then, she claimed on social media that sadness is a fascinating animal. You and your mother routinely travel a road in your hometown, and one moment everything is good, the next you find yourself needing to slam on the brakes.
“I think I smelled her scent at that very moment. Hear her laughter. Everything shows how much I cared about her. She is popular. All of the memories suddenly flooded back to mind because I had to keep them for her. We were a gang all the time. And I’ll continue to walk this route with her many times more, grieving for her each time.
