Ozzy made a moving statement to his fans in which he said that the thought of disappointing them hurts him more than they can imagine.
When Ozzy underwent spinal surgery in 2019 and was informed that he might be permanently crippled, his health took a turn for the worse.
The situation was made worse by the fact that he was later given a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis and suffered a nasty fall that exacerbated neck injuries from an ATV accident in 2003.
Ozzy expressed his thanks to those closest to him, including his family, bandmates, crew members, lifelong friends Judas Priest, and devoted fans who had given him a life he could never have imagined, realizing that his days of touring the globe were few.
People who had bought tickets for upcoming performances were urged to apply for refunds there and then.
