Cher, a singer, just turned 77 years old. For the occasion, the singer of Believe tweeted a question to her followers. Okay, would someone kindly tell me when I will feel old? These are absurd. Cher tweeted on Saturday, “I keep hearing these stats, but I honestly can’t fathom them. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH NUMBERS? I struggle with numbers since I’m dyslexic, she wrote.
The singer is obviously struggling to reconcile her chronological age with how old she feels mentally. On paper, Cher maybe 77 years old, but in her heart, the singer and actress is still very much a young woman!
The singer followed by expressing her gratitude to her supporters. “Thank you for staying, I know it’s been hard,” she wrote. I must go exercise. I find Twitter more challenging than TweetBot.
Given that she recently called it split with her producer lover Alexander “AE” Edwards, the singer probably spent her birthday alone. The couple had been dating for a few months, and there had even been rumors of an engagement at one time.
According to sources, the split between the pair occurred amicably a few weeks ago.
Cher was a few years older than Edwards. 37 years old was the singer’s age. When they were seen walking around together in Los Angeles in November 2022, the couple was thought to be dating. Then the singer endorsed the rumors. She appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in December of last year and addressed the rumors there. Despite having a roughly 40-year age gap, the pair continued to be together.
The singer said, “On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous.” But we get along well in real life, she said. He’s amazing. And I don’t bestow upon folks traits they don’t merit.
Edwards received high acclaim from Cher, who described him as “fabulous,” “very kind,” “very smart,” “very talented,” and “really funny.” She continued, thinking “he’s quite handsome.”
The singer shared a photo of a big diamond ring Edwards gave her for Christmas. The action instantly aroused interest and spread reports that the couple had gotten engaged.
It was claimed that the pair had never exchanged vows and that the ring was not an engagement ring.
Cher was still content in her partnership as recently as March 2023. Asked if she seemed content in her relationship with Edwards while walking the red carpet for Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love, the singer replied, “Yes, I am.”
The business legend has previously been married. From 1964 to 1975, she was notably wed to Sonny Bono, and from 1975 to 1979, she was wed to Gregg Allman. She has also been in public romances with producers Tim Medvetz and actor Val Kilmer.
