Blake Shelton is confident that all of his fellow Voice coaches are keeping an eye on his crazy antics before he departs permanently at the conclusion of the current season, even if it’s just his wife Gwen Stefani.
The country singer ignited a fiery fight round in the most recent episode of The Voice season 22, which caused the lead singer of No Doubt to tremble with wrath. Cara Brindisi and Jay Allen performed “Leather and Lace” by Don Henley and Stevie Nicks at Gwen’s request. Even though she knew Cara would win, she wasn’t yet ready to let go of Jay. In a double-surprise turn of events, Gwen used her one save on him, but she wasn’t expecting her husband to fly in and frighten her.
Just when Blake interjected with the final Voice betrayal, she said, “Honestly, that was such a hard one for me, and it was so baffling because I knew that I wanted to help Jay.” What happens if Jay is kidnapped?
Undoubtedly, that was a bold action! Despite Gwen’s indignation, viewers of The Voice weren’t very disturbed by Blake’s dishonesty.
According to a YouTube user, Blake is the show’s “heart, soul, raw talent, and comic relief.” Blake will therefore be missed. “I can’t imagine this show being as good or as successful as it has been without Blake,” another viewer remarked. Everyone acknowledges Blake Shelton as a legend with a passionate fan base.
The primary characters in the NBC drama were obviously surprised by Blake’s clever move, though not everyone was completely taken aback. When announcer Carson Daly shouted, “It’s a save versus a steal between husband and wife,” the situation took a dramatic turn.
Yet in classic Blake fashion, he quickly acknowledged that the spontaneous heist was a part of a bigger scheme. I was going to use my stole. That would be the perfect opportunity for the funny one-liner I had in mind. I said, “Wait until she says something; that’ll be funny.”
What was Gwen’s opinion on his plan? It seems Blake should take caution as he approaches his house. Usually, my real husband stops me at the knees. Blake would surely pay for that in the future, she remarked on the show.
What further tactics does Blake have in store besides those he has already used this season? We can only wait to find out the response.
