Despite not having any more children, Mark Consuelos said he is “looking forward to being a grandfather.”
Mark Consuelos is eager to someday assume a new role as a grandparent despite not having children of his own.
Kelly Ripa asks her husband Consuelos if he would ever remarry in a sneak preview from her upcoming podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa.
Consuelos, 51, says he “isn’t going to have any more kids” after Ripa and that he will not be married again.
He declares, “I don’t want any more kids.” I’ll portray the more senior parent.
Do you realize how many older men I know who have recently begun having children? Ripa goes on.
“Yeah. The dejected kids are oblivious to what happens next. You’re going to have that father undergo knee and hip replacements, he continues, “not that there’s anything wrong with that father.” On the other hand, I already did that. I didn’t set out to avoid doing that. It merely took place recently. We had a lot of luck acting in the way we did.
“I believed it to be a little early. We ought to have had a year or two to ourselves at the absolute least. Consuelos comments, “I don’t think I’m looking forward to being a grandfather,” in light of this. It truly brings me joy. Beyond that, I genuinely don’t want to be a parent.
Consuelos and Ripa have three kids together: a son named Michael, 25, a daughter named Lola, 21, and a son named Joaquin, 20.
Last month, the mother of three, 52, celebrated her son’s 20th birthday by posting some adorable flashback pictures on her Instagram Stories. Later, she stated on Live with Kelly and Ryan that she had the impression that her children’s development had happened in a “flash.”
The birthday of Ripa’s child was celebrated on the morning chat show. “The infant, this is my son’s 20th birthday,” she said, addressing co-host Ryan Seacrest.
Is it passing quickly? I’m aware that the flight is lengthy,” Seacrest said to Ripa.
No, there was just a little flash. The woman said, “It’ll only take a minute.”
Do you and Mark feel as happy and proud as I do? You succeeded, as evidenced by your three lovely adult children.
We are very happy we did it at the time because now I consider what would have happened if our kids were of this age now. Ripa said something.
Produced by Consuelos and Ripa’s Milojo Productions in collaboration with SiriusXM, Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa airs weekly. The podcast’s first episode, which premieres on March 22, features Matthew McConaughey, Andy Cohen, Carol Burnett, and Anderson Cooper as guests.
