Months after his difficult divorce from longtime wife Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner appears to have found love again.
There have been rumors that the Yellowstone actor is in a relationship with singer Jewel.
They were recently photographed together at a tennis event for the Inspiring Children Foundation on Richard Branson’s Necker Island.
According to a source close to the couple, they flew to the Caribbean and spent over a week together.
Naturally, this follows the upheaval caused by Costner’s post-relationship legal battle with Baumgartner.
According to reports, Costner was caught off guard when his wife decided to file for divorce in May of this year. From that moment forward, the sad scenario proceeded to develop.
Christine provided the reasons for her divorce in early May, alleging “irreconcilable differences.” They’d been married for 18 years.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” Costner’s spokeswoman stated in a statement.
“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Costner and Baumgartner married in 2004. Grace is the couple’s daughter; their sons are Cayden and Hayes; Grace is twelve years old.
Baumgartner and Costner got into a furious argument after her lawsuit, and Costner ended up paying $63,209 in child support and evicting Baumgartner from the family home (as per their prenuptial agreement).
Even if Costner’s journey has clearly been a dark one, riddled with loss, uncertainty, and a lot of stress he could have spared, there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel.
TMZ has reported a relationship between Costner and US singer Jewel. One insider said, “There was definitely something going on,” confirming that the pair vacationed in the Caribbean together.
They were seductive and appeared to radiate joy whenever they were in each other’s company.
Jewel went above and beyond by mentioning Costner on social media. “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son!” she remarked of the tennis fundraiser hosted on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. This year, @kevincostnermodernwest was gracious enough to mentor our youngsters.”
Rumor has it that Jewel and Costner got back on the road together, according to TMZ. Jewel is “picky,” and “she wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill,” according to a source.
