Mia Robertson, the Duck Dynasty actors Missy and Jase Robertson’s daughter, is in mourning this week following the passing of a guy who had a significant impact on her life.

Dr. David Genecov, the young patient’s long-time doctor, had died in an automobile accident the previous Saturday. While Mia underwent a series of surgeries to repair a cleft lip and palate, Mia’s mother Missy Robertson posted the good news on Instagram and explained how her husband’s skills and medical advancements made a difference.

“His kind attitude helped calm her (and me), but his persistent reassurance to both of us that we can complete the challenging tasks helped make both Mia and I stronger than we could have ever imagined possible,” Missy says. His unfailing faith in our capacity to complete challenging tasks made both of us stronger than we could have ever dreamed.

Since she was a very small child, Mia Robertson’s journey has been extensively covered in the media. In July, she underwent her 14th surgery, which she intends to be her last. The Her Mia Moo Fund was established in order to guarantee that every child has the opportunity to smile.

Mia is taking Missy Robertson’s assertion that she informed her about the situation very badly. Dr. Genecov’s perfect look and Mia’s involvement in the decision-making process will both be important factors in how the family recalls him.

He was more than we could have ever hoped or anticipated for the adventure her cleft would take. We are very grateful for the work he performed for Mia and all of his cleft lip and palate patients, as well as for the legacy of medical achievements he has left for future generations. His absence will be felt deeply.

The occasion has not yet been mentioned by Mia in any of her social media posts. Her mother continued, “She can’t recall her life before she met Dr. David. Please think of his family and everyone else who is mourning his loss in your prayers.
