A 2009 History Channel episode starring the Harrison family’s grandson Richard Corey Harrison and a close family friend named Austin “Chumlee” Russell was filmed at the establishment.
The lawsuit asserts that after Richard Harrison passed away in 2018, Joanne Harrison acquired his 49 percent ownership interest in the pawn shop. In 2018, Richard Harrison passed away. But Rick Harrison hasn’t given her any evidence that is particularly precise about the business’s financial dealings.
In addition, Joanne Harrison claims that despite several tries, she has been unable to acquire an accurate accounting of the more than $500,000 in cash and silver that her husband is said to have amassed before to his death.
A court order preventing Rick Harrison from accessing monies belonging to Joanne Harrison, specified damages, an accounting of assets, and “a constructive trust” over Joanne Harrison’s property are all requested in this complaint. A court injunction is also sought in the complaint to prevent Rick Harrison from accessing Joanne Harrison’s funds.
