Sadie Robertson thinks her body is playing a new role as she carries her second child.
The Duck Dynasty alum discussed how her body image changed after her second pregnancy on Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor Dome’s podcast, The Squeeze.
“I remember it molded a lot of body image stuff for me because your body takes on a whole new significance,” Roberton, 25, remarked to the show’s co-hosts.
It “just shifts so much of who you are and takes the focus off of you and places it onto something so much greater,” she said. “Suddenly, every part of your body is used for the benefit of another life.”
Your capacity, strength, and confidence all rise as a result. Robertson underlined how having her first child and going through motherhood helped her prepare for having her second. “It helped me become much less naive,” she said. “My stomach isn’t trying to be the flattest or fittest anymore. At this point, I feel as though I’m creating life within myself.
Perspective may kill you or perspective may make you, Robertson stated in a February 2022 interview with Yahoo Life on the difficulties she faced while pregnant with Honey James Huff, her first child.
“I vomited every day from week seven to week 24. I didn’t have a perfect pregnancy,” she admitted to the site at the time. But at the end of the day, gratitude dispels a lot of your concerns and insecurities.
In April 2021, she posted an Instagram story with updates showcasing Honey’s expanding belly.
“Increasing or getting more prominent over time is the definition of growing. You make me better, tiny one. I’m hoping that despite any discomfort, I’ll always see advancement as a truly good thing. Given that this is the situation, Robertson wrote the caption.
Roberton and her spouse Christian Huff announced the news of their second child’s impending birth in November of last year.
Another little miracle is in action, according to the caption accompanying the adorable picture of the trio, which features Robertson holding a strip of ultrasound photos.
The couple found out they were expecting a daughter a few weeks later at a party where Huff struck a ball with a bat that released pink smoke.
When they learned the gender of their second child, they delightfully revealed that they were “team female.”
Robertson last shared her growing baby belly on Instagram in December. She wrote, “Hello there, second trimester! I’m really glad to see you. grateful for everything. Thank you, God.
