One year after his mother Carol Baldwin passed away at the age of 92, Baldwin, 65, expressed how much he misses her in an Instagram post on Friday.
It’s difficult to think that it has been a year since the matriarch of the Baldwin family passed away, Alec wrote in the post’s description, which featured a photo of his mother Carol. Among Carol’s six children were Alec’s siblings Daniel, William, Stephen, Elizabeth, and Jane. Additionally, she had 14 great-grandchildren and 25 grandkids. “My mother taught me about second acts,” Alec said in a statement from the previous year. similarly, third ones. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1991. After regaining health, she worked with several Long Island-based breast cancer support groups to launch a project with SUNY Stony Brook.
The next year, in cooperation with Shirley Strum Kenny, the school’s president at the time, the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund was founded on the Stony Brook campus. Eventually, SUNY Upstate University received a branch. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, millions of dollars have been raised for the cause, he claimed.

Baldwin also completed Rust’s production this week, more than two years after Halyna Hutchins, the film’s cinematographer, passed away.
