Magali Jimenez gave birth to a wonderful daughter named Ava Skye. The daughter was a lively, happy child who made her mother’s life better. Sadly, everything changed when little Ava became 13 months old.
The young woman suddenly started to experience pain. She began to cry, and it became obvious that something was seriously wrong. When Magalli took her to the doctor, there was a dreadful development that no parent should ever experience. Ava had muscular cancer.
This shattered Magalli’s life, but she knew she had to be strong for her child because the fight against the illness would be challenging.
Ava had chemotherapy, and her mother could only pray that it was successful in helping her daughter heal and come out on top.
When Ava finally went into remission, her family was overjoyed, but sadly, their happiness was fleeting.
In July 2022, doctors informed Ava’s family that her cancer had returned and was now resistant to treatment. The prospects of this adorable girl making a full recovery were minimal due to how frail her body already was, despite the doctors’ best efforts to remove it surgically.
The family was simultaneously expecting the worst and praying for a miracle.
Magali found it difficult to comprehend that she only had a short time left with her child.
Ava was moved to a hospice facility in an effort to make her final days as comfortable as possible. The distraught mother occasionally sobbed in the bathroom, but she always appeared upbeat around her child.
Simply put, we’re going to let her live her life, be loved by us, and let us do everything else we’ve ever wanted to do with her. We’ve made a wish list for her,” Magalli continued.
Sadly, lovely Ava died away on August 22, 2022. Ava’s bucket list was being fulfilled thanks to a GoFundMe page that family friends had created to assist with the medical expenses.
The day before her mother died away, Ava, ill and exhausted from all the therapies and hospital visits, found the strength to sing her mother a song. She chose the nursery music she liked best. “I cherish you. You cherish me. We are a happy family. accompanied by a kiss and a bear hug. Will you not acknowledge your love for me as well? Ava started to sing.
Fortunately, Magali was able to capture that very moment on film so she could cherish it forever.
The video of Ava singing to the person she loved most exemplifies how brave and compassionate she was.
“I promised her that I would sacrifice my life for her, but my heart will always be broken and will never be the same. Hug your children a little bit closer today, she advised, even if they drive you crazy.
