Seeing famous couples who value their marriage and families is nice.
“1883” stars Although Time McGraw and Faith Hill make a lovely couple, they have experienced tragedies and difficulties, just like any other family.
They disclosed in 2022 that Gracie, their 25-year-old daughter, had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
At the time, they were showered with love and support, and recently, Gracie has used social media to keep everyone updated on her status.
“I just wanted to quickly let you know that I recently received a PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) diagnosis. You would need two of the five PCOS traits to receive the proper diagnosis, and I had three.
“During my appointment with my endocrinologist, I realized that may have been a factor in my issues with weight,” Gracie added in the article. “So, we decided to try a medicine to regulate my body more normally and create the tools to continue to keep my body and myself healthy as I get older.”
As she explained, “I’m learning to navigate the new blemishes but I don’t think that I would have ever allowed myself to go to a doctors appointment like this unless I had taken the correct steps toward my mental health, because as much as physical health is important, mental goes hand in hand.” Gracie did not hide any aspect of her condition.
Fans of the young McGraw have praised her online for being open about her ailment.
For women of childbearing age, PCOS is a highly prevalent hormonal issue, according to John Hopkins Medicine.
This disorder can cause a woman to not ovulate and have high levels of androgens. On their ovaries, some people also have little cysts. In addition to irregular menstrual cycles, PCOS can also lead to excessive hair growth, acne, infertility, and weight gain.
“Sending love to everyone struggling with anything, whether it be a comparable issue or something quite different. Mental health is really difficult! Although it’s a long path, we can get there, the celebrity continued.
“I offer my experience in the hopes that it would help someone who can connect to my predicament. P.S. I now have a body that I haven’t had in years—possibly ever—thanks to the medication I’m on. Although it’s difficult, I’m managing to adore her.
Fans reacted quickly to the young woman’s candor, applauding her and using adjectives like “brave” and “beautiful” to describe her.
Sadly, Gracie has gone through a lot in relation to her physique. She was made fun of in 2021 for her shape, but she retaliated by dancing and embracing the body shamer!
“I felt good about myself today as I looked in the mirror. I eventually went to a store and chose the biggest dress size they had, which was an 8 btw (bs) I wear a 10, and the girl who was working in the store basically pulled the dress out of my hands and said “That’s not going to fit you,” she said in the beginning of the caption. “First of all, obviously, since, idk, it’s not my size?, and secondly the fact that she verbally told me I was too big for the dress and physically ripped the outfit out of my hands really upset me,” she posted on Instagram.
She continued, “It didn’t only bother me that she was effectively labeling me too big; it really bothered me because so many places do this—they only display smaller sizes before their bigger sizes, which don’t even reach your knees when you try them on. I’ve been wearing the same jean size for around three years, and every time I try a different brand—or even the same one I previously owned—the size 30 is somehow smaller even if my own body hasn’t changed in size. It’s practically everything; it’s not just about clothes.
Naturally, Tim McGraw and the whole of Gracie’s family are behind her. In 2020, Tim revealed his love for his daughter and expressed it in the following way:
“Gracie, our oldest daughter, is an actress in L.A., and she makes me proud every day because she’s such a strong, independent young lady who speaks her mind.”
It’s clear that Gracie has not let her condition affect her genuinity. Let us know what you think about her bravery and transparency in the comments!
