Despite the difficulties brought on by the recent health issue affecting her famous mother Madonna, Lourdes Leon is maintaining a sense of normalcy.
The 26-year-old singer and model shared a picture on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday that showed her perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity.
In the photo, Lourdes was wearing a corset top, and blue jeans, which allowed her naturally brown hair to fall freely. It was shared with her 475,000 followers.
She finished off her appearance with a chain around her waist, silver cuff bracelets, and an over-the-arm pocketbook.
Lourdes included the hashtag for the Vans line of skate shoes and apparel along with a loving emoji. Madonna, 64, was recently transported to the intensive care unit (ICU) after suffering from what her representative called a “serious bacterial infection.”
Lourdes, whose father is the actor Carlos Leon, was reportedly by Madonna’s side constantly during this tough time, according to Page Six. The news that Madonna was hospitalized stunned the entertainment industry.
The vocalist of Material Girl was found to be unwell on Saturday. She was soon transferred to the ICU where she spent the night with an intubation.
The singer had a “serious bacterial infection,” according to Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary, necessitating a protracted stay in the intensive care unit.
Madonna’s 84-date Celebration tour, which was scheduled to begin on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, had to be postponed, according to Oseary, who revealed this terrible health situation on Instagram.
Oseary refused to provide details about Madonna’s medical treatment, but said she is “expected to make a full recovery.” He went on to say that she was still “under medical care,” but that her “health is improving.”
Apparently, Madonna is “out of the ICU and recovering,” according to DailyMail.com.
Rocco Ritchie, Madonna’s oldest child, released a number of photos and videos from his motorcycle trip in Transylvania, Romania, at this time.
On June 26, two days after Madonna was checked into the hospital, Rocco wrote a message in which he neglected to mention his mother’s medical issues and instead expressed his excitement for new adventures following a “crazy trip” in a “crazy place.”
The specifics of Madonna’s bacterial infection are still undisclosed. These infections, however, can damage a wide range of organs, including the skin, lungs, brain, and blood.
Madonna has set a schedule for her Celebration Tour that will last from July 15, 2023, until January 30, 2024.
The singer’s 12th concert tour, which consisted of 84 performances, was slated to include stops in North America and Europe.
The day before she was rushed to the hospital, Madonna posted her penultimate Instagram on June 20, and it included images of her rehearsing for the tour along with the caption “The calm before the storm.”
