Pitbull/Pit Bull mix Mary Jane was a rescue animal. Mary Jane was the best dog anyone could ask for, and she knew exactly how to express her gratitude. She was given fresh life by Miley.

The “Midnight Sky” singer revealed that her cherished dog was diagnosed with cancer more than a year ago. She wrote in an Instagram story, “Anyone who knows me, and it doesn’t have to be well, is aware that my dearest pal in the whole world is a rescued pit bull mix named Mary Jane,” before going on to detail the dog’s health problems.

It wasn’t the first time someone had told me to take my time appreciating her distinct character, so the comment didn’t surprise me. I had been before that for ten years.

The singer continued by saying that while it is simple to “take things for granted” and “let tiny miracles pass you by without moments of thanks,” she “never once did I forget the gift I had been given” when Mary Jane was a part of her life.

“I continuously thanked her for everything she had done and been for me before she passed away. There was something more important than a friend or a relative involved. something entirely fresh and unique. It cannot be defined.

Our exchange was quite amazing. An unmatched affection,” the singer continued. “Never has anything we’ve said or done been done with the intention of harming one another. We’ve never argued and then been angry before bed. We’ve been committed to you from the beginning.

Mary Jane was always there to help Miley rebuild her wounded heart.

The singer made sure she did everything she could to make Mary Jane’s final days as pain-free as possible, as far as it was practical.

“I’m in pain even though she’s not anymore. It’s the center of love, she added. Mary Jane died with dignity, grace, authority, and calm.

Her kindness and compassion toward everyone served as a compass for her life. When it was required, she was brave, but never for very long.
